Brittany works from a Cognitive Behavioral approach along with a Dialectical Behavioral approach in order to challenge and re-frame thoughts along with developing healthy coping strategies to counteract emotional distress. She works from a collaborative approach with the individual, family, and or couple to outline strength based goals, increase awareness and validate given information provided. Brittany is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) trained in theories of individual, family and couple’s counseling. She sees clients for a variety of reasons which include but are not limited to: trauma related events, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, self-esteem, family problems and major life transitions/stress. The hope for clients is that they leave feeling validated, confident and secure in the progress that has been made through therapy. Her approach is hands on and engaged in therapy and will work to help all clients to become the best version of themselves and conquer the goals that are addressed.
