Dittmar Counseling Services has been providing therapy to individuals from the Greensburg, Latrobe, Mount Pleasant, North Huntingdon, Jeanette, Ligonier, Irwin, Derry, Delmont and other communities in Westmoreland County since 2009. From its inception, treatment for adults, adolescents, families and couples in a quiet, private setting has been the focus of Dittmar Counseling. Because of the Practice’s growth, Dittmar Counseling has been able to include psychiatric medication management for individuals needing medicinal intervention as well. We continue to offer flexible hours for appointments including daytime, evening and weekend hours of service.

Our therapeutic staff provides counseling in the areas of anxiety, depression, stress management, grieving including pet loss, substance use and addictions, pregnancy loss, trauma, relationship difficulties, physical illness or severe medical diagnoses, parenting and personal self-esteem. We at Dittmar Counseling understand that healing often requires additional support from family and other community systems. Our Therapists are sensitive to the full spectrum of needs of individuals including their spiritual and religious concerns.

As a result, Dittmar Counseling Services has established referring relationships with those involved in community treatment facilities, medical offices, clergy from local Christian churches, schools and personal recommendations from previously treated individuals.
